We are all creative. Everyone. Whether it's writing, painting, cooking, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing a musical instrument or scrapbooking there is something we're good at - something that makes us happy.

And with all those creative endeavors, the challenge is often public consumption. Do we get the same satisfaction if we bake the world's greatest cookie if no one tastes it? Perhaps. If a beautiful poem goes unread, is it any less wondrous? Maybe. And that is a little bit about the history of Red Jack Press itself. We wanted to give writers another outlet - another way for them to showcase their talent. At its inception, RJP will not focus on one specific genre. While this might change in the future, this allows us, at first, to open our arms to writers working in numerous areas. Horror, science fiction, period pieces, zombies, sports, short story collections, literary fiction ... we're proud of you all.

So, come along for the ride. Look over our library, scan through our author bios, read a book, write a book, submit a book. But, above all else, never lose sight of your passion. Never lose the desire to allow your creativity to flourish.
